Welcome to the first beta of Wootility v5 which we've been hard at work at for some time.

As a whole there is not a massive difference in the feature set going from v4 to v5. Our core goal has been to implement the new design from Pola (our UI/UX designer), giving us more room to implement the big new features we're planning. That being said, there has been significant improvements to the user experience, some quality of life improvements and a few new features. We're currently at the stage where our focus is on stability, so we've temporarily paused the majority of new features, with the goal being to squash as many issues as possible to ensure you have the smoothest experience possible!

Wootility v5 was initially launched as an Alpha for 80HE first deliveries. Now we're inviting all users to try out this beta, find sneaky issues and share any feedback you might have! The ideal place to share bugs/feedback is on our Discord server, there is a thread in the #wootility_updates channel for this 😁

Here is an overview of the main changes from Wootility v4:

A fresh design that’s modern and coherent

• Complete redesign
• Dark mode only (for now)
• Added a ton of tooltips that explain features
• Added indications for shortcuts in profile management

An easy-to-navigate structure

• Moved keyboard feature categories from the bottom to the sidebar
• Added quick settings for commonly used settings
• Recategorized features for a more intuitive experience

Enhanced profile management

• Overhauled profile management
• Added an overview of active/inactive profiles
• Added icons and colors to label custom profiles

Added controls

• Drag area to select
• Double click to select keys with same config
• Select/deselect all buttons

Full per-key Rapid Trigger settings

• All Rapid Trigger settings can now be set per key individually. [Not available on AVR based boards due to memory limitations]
