We expect to deliver the first batch of the Wooting 80HE in August 2024. You can find an estimated delivery date during checkout or in the product configurator. After placing an order you can also find the estimated delivery date in the Wooting hub.

The Wooting 80HE has hall effect sensors on the PCBA to detect the magnet inside the Lekker switch. Without the magnet it can’t detect the switch. We recommend using our own Lekker switches.

There are a few available magnet switches that are compatible with the 80HE:
- Gateron Magnetic Jade switch
- Gateron KS-20

In our testing we haven’t measured any performance issues or a significantly increased CPU load. (Mice that poll at 8k are constantly sending relative position data updates to the computer which is known to cause increased CPU load, whereas the data stream sent by keyboard polling is very different.). A PC should have no issues running the Wooting 80HE at 8kHz. It is however possible to lower the polling rate of the keyboard.

The minimum required port is a USB 2.0 port. Anything higher like 3.x or 4.x is compatible as well.

There are currently no aftermarket cases available. Later this year, we will share our design files publicly, inviting case makers & hobbyists to develop their own 80HE cases.

Yes, the Wooting 80HE is compatible with most aftermarket screw in stabilizers and clip in stabilizers.

Yes, through the Wootility you can set various polling speeds from 1kHz up to 8kHz.

We will offer a dedicated model of the Wooting 80HE for ANSI, ISO and JIS.

The ANSI Layout always comes pre-installed with US English double-shot PBT keycaps. The ISO and JIS layouts come without keycaps installed. The selected language keycap is a separate product you receive in addition.

- UK English
- German
- Nordic (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and Danish)
- French
- Spanish

If we don’t offer your ISO layout language, you can choose the ISO model without keycaps and install any MX stem compatible keycaps with your language on it.

Any keycaps compatible with Cherry MX switches should be compatible. For the bottom of ANSI and ISO row we use standard keycap sizes.

You receive a 4 year warranty on the Wooting 80HE covering workmanship and materials during normal use. And a 2 year warranty on the LED backlight. When you have a defect, we will offer free replacement. Outside the warranty period, these parts can be purchased at a discounted price.

Yes, the 80HE features per key configurable RGB effect, as well as special effects and RGB presets.

No, it is not possible to order the 80HE without the lightbar, but you can deactivate it in Wootility.

Yes, on ANSI/ISO it has the same 4 additional LEDs (2 on each side of the spacebar) similar to the 60HE. On the JIS layout, due to the additional bottom row keys, there are only 2 additional LEDs(1 on each side)
