Human Resource Manager / Full-time / Netherlands

Job description

You are Wooting’s HR specialist for the Netherlands and European region. You will manage personnel administration, ensure compliance with local labor laws, support recruitment efforts, and onboard new employees. Additionally, you will coordinate and drive employee development initiatives while advising leadership on HR policies and procedures.

On Slack you’ve received a message from one of your co-workers, asking for a moment to discuss something private. You open Gather and bring the employee a visit to check on him and hear what he has to say. After the visit the employee feels better, since you’ve offered him a listening ear. You quickly visit another co-worker, it’s her birthday! Hopefully she received the postcard you sent her.

You log in to the payroll program to double check if the hours, wages and vacation days are filled in correctly. You notice that one of the employees’ contract expires in two months, so you discuss this with the lead. Together you decide it’s time to offer the employee an indefinite contract and after discussing details, you draft up a contract.

Since Wooting is growing rapidly, you’ve put up several job listings so there are lots of applications coming in. Last week you and one of the co-founders decided on what to look out for when judging the applications. Out of 20 applications, you make a short list to discuss during the next meeting.

You’re thoroughly enjoying helping your colleagues, creating a great team dynamic, and feel excited about what Wooting can do to create an amazing work environment in which everyone can feel productive and fulfilled.
