Quality Engineer / Full-time / Taiwan
Job description
Your day starts with a clear mission: protect the quality of Wooting’s products. Every task you handle makes a difference for customers who trust Wooting.
This morning, you review reports from the Customer Service team. An issue has been flagged multiple times in just a week. The pattern is worrying — it might affect an entire product batch. You quickly dig into the data, tracing serial numbers, and looking into the feedback from customers. The issue is serious.
You reach out to Tech Support team to arrange the return of affected products for deeper investigation. Next, you meet with the TPM and engineers, breaking down every possibility and tracing every potential fault. Then you alert the production line to check immediately and work with the supplier to find the root cause.
While the factory is taking care of this issue, you shift your focus to a new product that’s ready for inspection. You need to prepare instructions for a 3rd party QC vendor to inspect this new product. After reviewing the supplier’s SIP and aligning with ID team, you start to create a QC-SOP for the 3rd party inspectors.
By the end of the day, the earlier issue has been resolved. The production line has taken corrective action. With all the details updated and recorded in your issue log file, it’s time for the best part of the day — an issue closed!
Being a Quality Engineer, you’re constantly connected with your team, sharing insights, solving problems, and pushing for improvements. But your work isn’t confined to your desk, sometimes it takes you even further — boarding a flight to China, walking the factory floor, ensuring every detail is just right.
