Human Resource Manager / Full-time / Taiwan

Job Description

You’re Wooting’s Human Resources expert for Taiwan and the Asia time zone. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management while continuously improving company policies to align with business growth and ensuring labor law compliance. You are a valuable HR resource for employees and leadership in Taiwan.

A typical day starts with checking incoming employee messages and addressing their immediate questions. You come across an interesting DM from a colleague requesting special paid time off due to their ongoing divorce, which is making it difficult to balance personal and work life.

Your mind starts racing—this is a new situation without any existing policies or clear solutions. After a brief conversation with the colleague about their circumstances, you reach out to their team lead to align: has the lead noticed these personal challenges, and do they have any suggestions or feedback?

The team lead was unaware of the situation. Together, you develop an approach to help the colleague balance their work and personal life. This experience inspires you—realizing this could serve as a valuable precedent, you propose a formal policy to leadership for future similar situations.

While this matter progresses, you return to your recruitment duties: filtering applications, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews for hiring managers. Having confirmed a new colleague will join the Wooting team next week, you allocate time to prepare their onboarding and ensure the team lead is ready.

You’re thoroughly enjoying helping your colleagues, creating a great team dynamic, and feel excited about what Wooting can do to create an amazing work environment in which everyone can feel productive and fulfilled.
