Wootility v5.3.0 is here with some big upgrades to how your keyboard is calibrated, visualised, and configured.

Here's what's new.

The Switch Selector

After some time being in beta, the Switch Selector is now officially live.

You can now tell Wootility which switches you're using and it'll optimise calibration, performance, and analog accuracy to that specific switch.

The Switch Selector currently supports 28 switch types. Our own Lekker v1/v2 and Lekker Tikken switch, plus a wide range of third-party switches from Gateron, Geon, TTC, Wuque Studio, and others. Missing your favorite switch? Request it in the Switch Selector. If enough people do, we’ll add it.

Spacer support is included too: you can also select the keys that have spacers, enter the size, and calibration adjusts automatically.

O-ring support is still in beta, while we work through the challenge of calibrating around compression.

Improved key press visualisation

Wootility now uses an updated analog protocol that’s able to show more context with every key press, including physical position and actuation state.

Try it out in the visual feedback tester on the Actuation Point tab, or use the dedicated Rappy Snappy and SOCD (Snappy Tappy) testers.

Configurable Gamepad polling rate

You can now configure the polling rate of the Gamepad feature. Up to 8000 Hz on the Wooting 80HE and 60HEv2, and up to 1000 Hz on other Wooting keyboards.

Gamepad axis and trigger reports were also updated to higher resolution for more precise analog inputs.

Finer actuation control

On ARM devices, Actuation Point increments have been halved from 0.1mm to 0.05mm.

That means you can now set your actuation point even more precisely.

Copy/paste RGB effects

You can now copy dynamic RGB effects between main layers of your profiles using the three-dot menu or the familiar Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V shortcuts.

This makes it very easy to copy your beloved RGB settings to new profiles.

Now in beta: App Linking

App Linking is now available in beta.

Create custom Wootility profiles for specific apps or games and link them.

Open an app, and the right profile activates automatically. No manual switching.

This means every game can have its own setup, without the extra steps.

This feature uses the Wootility Background Service.
