To get a quick idea of what applies in your case we’re distinguishing two cases.
Returns
Within 30 days of deliveryProduct arrived with an issue?
You can return it and Wooting will cover the return shipping costs. You can choose either:
- Full replacement, or
- Full Refund
Changed your mind about your purchase?
You can still return the product within 30 days, but the return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Warranty
After 30 days, up to 2 or 4 yearsKeyboards, modules, and most keyboard cases:
Four (4) year warranty, with Two (2) year warranty on the LED components.
Accessories:
Two (2) year warranty.
If something goes wrong during normal use and the issue is covered under our limited manufacturer's warranty, we'll provide replacement parts to help you resolve it.

Overview
The following warranty policy applies only to products purchased on the Wooting store (wooting.io).
If you have purchased your product from an authorised reseller, and are still within their specified return window, please contact them for returns. If you are over their return window, please contact us through our Support Wizard for warranty assistance instead.
If you did not purchase the product(s) directly from the Wooting store (wooting.io), please reach out to the original owner of the product(s) and request an order transfer. Note that warranty support is only available for valid Wooting store orders registered under your email address.
If you have any product issues or questions, reach out to us by opening a ticket through our Support Wizard.
Wooting reserves the right to update this warranty policy from time to time. Any changes will not affect warranty rights applicable to products purchased prior to the date of such changes. You can review our previous version of the warranty policy here.
Product Defect on Arrival
Worldwide: If you receive a defective product or if the product was heavily damaged during transport, please reach out to us through the Support Wizard as soon as possible.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue/situation
- Clear photos of the package and the damaged product
We will inspect the damage and decide the most appropriate method for amendment. Depending on your country of residence and type of damage, we may:
- Send a replacement unit
- Send replacement part(s), or
- (For specific products/situations) Request a return before issuing a replacement
Wooting Outlet: Items labelled "Misfits" may include cosmetic defects as described on the product page. Any defects already described in the product information are not covered by warranty. If your Misfits product shows clear shipping damage, or defects beyond what was described on the product page, please contact us through the Support Wizard with photos.
Product Warranty
Wooting Store Worldwide: Every Wooting keyboard includes a limited manufacturer's warranty of 2 to 4 years from the date of shipment.
This limited warranty is provided and does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, which may provide for a longer protection period in certain countries. The specific warranty period of your product depends on the information printed on the outer packaging. Or, if no period is specified, you can find the exact warranty period here.
For pre-order items, your warranty does not go into effect until the date of shipment.
Our warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials during normal use. The LED backlight proportion (including the LED components and controller) on any product has a 2-year warranty on failure during normal use.
To request warranty support, please open a ticket through our Support Wizard. Warranty claims require the following:
- Proof of purchase
- A valid Wooting order number registered under your Wooting Hub Account or email address
- A valid receipt/proof of purchase from an Authorised Reseller
- Proof of defect
- A clear photo or video showing the issue with the product
- Diagnostic tests, if requested by our support team
Wooting reserves the right to decline warranty claims if valid proof of purchase or defect cannot be provided.
How We Handle Warranty Claims
Warranty claims are typically resolved by providing replacement parts to restore the product to normal working condition.
Full product refunds or full replacements are not provided after the 30-day no-questions-asked return period has expired.
For example, if your keyboard cable is deemed faulty, we will replace the cable instead of replacing an entire keyboard; if some components on the PCB are deemed faulty, we will send a replacement PCB. Note that in some cases, some tools may be required to complete the replacement, and we may require the defective item to be shipped back to us.
Any repaired or replaced product or component is covered by the legal or contractual warranty for at least the remainder of the original warranty period applicable to the product, and, where mandatory national or EU consumer protection law grants a longer period (including any suspension, extension or renewal of the legal guarantee in case of repair or replacement), that longer period will apply to the consumer's rights.
If a replacement is approved under warranty, Wooting covers the cost of the replacement item and standard inbound and outbound shipping costs, with the exception of:
- Import duties or handling fees imposed by third parties
- Forwarding service/proxy fees to countries/territories we cannot ship to directly
If you relocate to another country/territory, warranty support remains available provided that we can ship to your new country of residence.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage or problems resulting from (but not limited to) accident, abuse, misapplication, or alterations that affect the functionality or performance of the product
- Other user-inflicted damage, such as (but not limited to) liquid spills, drops, or damages from pets
- Force majeure events such as (but not limited to) natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, etc.
- Packaging material (including outer shipping carton and product packaging, or keyboard dust cover)
- Expected normal wear and tear of products
We offer the option to purchase select replacement parts if your specific situation or damage is not covered by warranty, or if you are not eligible for warranty.
Wooting Outlet: Products purchased in the Wooting Outlet (Refurbished, Relics, Misfits) include a 2-year limited warranty, including LED parts. This limited warranty is provided and does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, which may provide for a longer protection period in certain countries.
Misfits: The warranty does not cover cosmetic or functional issues that were clearly disclosed in the product description prior to purchase.
Relics: As these are the last available stock of discontinued products, replacements or spare parts may not be available. In such cases, we will assess the situation and determine an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer laws.
