Public Relations & Influencer Marketing (Shanghai-China) / Full-time

Job description

You're a savvy person who knows their way around key opinion leaders (KOL) in the Chinese gaming community, esports, and social platform internet culture. Your instincts allow you to make good judgment calls on behalf of Wooting to collaborate with different KOLs, create partnerships, coordinate samples, and provide relevant information. You're the bridge between Wooting and the people who help shape our public image.

You’re chatting with a professional esports player about their recent tournament win, checking in on how they’ve been enjoying their Wooting keyboard. You note some valuable product feedback and share it with the product team. Later that day, you follow up with a popular YouTuber to confirm their involvement in a new product launch campaign. You make sure they’ve received the product sample, understand the talking points, and are excited to share it with their audience.

You're constantly monitoring the esports and creator scene. When a hot new team starts gaining traction, you've already reached out to them. When an outspoken influencer makes a controversial statement, you're prepared with a tactful, measured response. From building long-term relationships to negotiating partnerships or managing potential issues, you're at the center of it all.

You keep your finger on the pulse of gaming communities, reaching out to rising stars and longtime Wooting fans alike. When we launch a new product, you already have a short list of KOLs to send samples to creators who genuinely love our brand and are excited to help us tell the story.

Throughout your work, you maintain close communication with the marketing team and report to the CCO (Chief Creative Officer).
