Individual RGB backlight

Now it’s an a e s t h e t i c. The Lekker switches entirely light up like pieces of candy underneath the keys. This gives a sweet bloom effect on the top and a stunning RGB show on the side. It gets real lekker when you start using one of our unique analog input RGB effects.

Lekker analog input

Lekker Toetsenbord

Immerse yourself into the game

Take gradual control of your in-game characters and vehicles using analog input. Never lose immersion and gain smooth steering control in games such as: GTA5, PUBG, Rocket League, Track Mania, Dirt 4, and etc.

Even a controller can't do this

Gain unique analog advantages over your enemies by quietly walking at a faster pace or leaning at tighter angles.

Bind multiple actions at different points of a single keystroke using Dynamic Key Stroke (DKS). Create a two-state key to control walking and sprinting based on press-depth or bind an entire combo of events that you can gradually activate at the right time.

The Wooting two lekker edition works, feels, types, sounds and still is a true mechanical keyboard. Type your next novel, slang on Discord or play competitive games using digital input (on/off), it’s not one or the other, it’s all in one. You can use the analog input features to your advantage without compromises.

Adjustable actuation point for each key

Everything on the keyboard, not in the cloud, without any limitations and independent from external software.

Do you want the fastest response for gaming or the laid back error free typing experience? The choice is yours with the adjustable actuation point anywhere between 0.1 and 3.8mm on the entire keyboard or per key.

What’s the point of using a shorter travel- or low profile switch? Rapid trigger turns the key OFF whenever you retract it and back ON when you press it. You can repeat key presses at an insane pace for mind-boggling APM unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.

8MB on-board memory

Grow extra fingers, start typing like a maniac and simultaneously press all the keys, it will never miss a stroke with N-key rollover.

Get raw analog values from each key press using the Wooting analog SDK and create integrations or applications. It’s open-source and available on github.

Analog SDK

Wooting’s unique Tachyon mode turns off all unnecessary processes and runs the keyboard at its fastest possible scanning rate to ensure the fastest possible input speed.

The Lekker switch is an ambitious project. It’s the first full-range analog input switch made not only for ourselves but also 3rd party makers and hobbyists. This will require an incredible effort in R&D to bring into mass production, especially at 3rd party manufacturers.

The Wooting two lekker edition gives us a kickstart to develop for the Lekker switch and reach its full potential. And we need your help to make it happen.

Like what you see? Be the first to get notified when it goes into pre-order.

Every key on the Wooting two lekker edition can see how far down you press a key for analog input. Similar to a trigger key on a controller, you can gradually control the amount of input without losing its normal key functions.

We took full creative freedom in this Lekker edition design. From the vibrant yellow feet to the colorful keycaps leveraging 3 distinct colours for an extra pop. A step away from the typical black gaming keyboard, this will brighten up your desk and get a conversation going. The Dutch would say “Dat is een lekker toetsenbordje”.

Design statement

Dye-sub PBT keycaps

High quality thick PBT keycaps with a slight grainy surface and dye sublimated lettering. Like a fine wine, these are top tier keycaps us mechanical keyboard fanatics drool over.

These keycaps won’t shine, wear or tear and will outlast your keyboard. They have a rigid 1.5mm thick construction with a textured surface that has an satisfying typing experience and feel.

Them caps are tough

Dye sublimation

Excellent visibility

The characters will never fade away; dye sublimation merges the dye into the PBT plastic and retains a vibrant colour throughout its entire lifetime.

All the important keycaps are matte white with deep blue coloured characters for maximum visibility in the dark. You don’t need backlight for visibility anymore.

Guide the detachable USB-C to USB-A cable in the three-way cable gutter underneath the keyboard. It will also work with a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Detachable USB-C

Characters that don’t suck.

To summarize

If you’re like us, you must be pretty fed up with the godawful software from “gaming” companies. That’s why we made our own to-the-point software that we’re continuously improving.

We saved no expenses in our choice of material and general build quality. We’re known for our strict quality assurance and take great care to deliver nothing but the best. This keyboard is unbendable or twistable. Guaranteed. But don’t put it in a blender.

Excellent build quality

Wooting two Lekker edition will be available for pre-order this summer, be sure to join the waiting list to be the first to know when it's up for pre-order. It will be a one time only gig and be produced in limited quantities.

We need to hear your feedback on the design, then we can improve it together. The aim is to deliver the Lekker edition in 2020 Q1 or earlier.

The focus is on the Lekker switch development. We already have a good working sample, but it's not ready for mass-production. There's still a few things we'd like to see improved.

The entire focus of this project is on the development of the Lekker switch and bringing it into mass production.

In the meanwhile, there is a first-wave beta period with several hand-picked community members that will help us find flaws to improve.

Followed by a second-wave of beta testing open for the community to apply. This is honestly marketing for a near final product with the chance on finding last issues.

Then we're bringing it into mass production and spearhead delivery.

The progress of making the Lekker switch will determine the final delivery date. It's ready, when it's ready.

And get notified on launch!

How much is it going to cost?
We don’t know it yet. We have are finalising the bill of material, the largest expenses are the switch/sensor technology. You can expect it to be more expensive than the Wooting two.

I want this on my desk! When?
From past experience, we aim for 2020 Q1 or earlier. You will follow the progress with us together.

Do you support my keyboard language?
We will essentially make 2 base keyboards: An English ISO and English ANSI layout keyboard. We will offer an additional language keycaps kit to support languages: United Kingdom, German and Nordic. We might also offer: Spanish

Where can I buy it?
You can get it from the Wooting store. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to keep track and notified when we start  pre-orders.

What is the Lekker switch?
The Lekker switch is a full-range analog input switch. We made it to push the analog input to the next level. You can read more about the Lekker switch on this page.

What is analog input?
In short every key on a Wooting keyboard can see how far you press down for analog input. Similar to how a joystick on a controller works, you can gradually control the amount of input. More info here.

Which games support Analog input?
Almost every game that has been released over the last 8 years. Most games have controller support build in either with Xinput or Directinput. If a game doesn’t support one of these protocols. You can still simulate analog movement using the DKS feature.

How can I join the beta program?
You can’t, we cherry picked the testers this time around. You will be able to apply for the second-wave beta testers. We will announce this information per email newsletter and Discord.

I want a keyboard with lekker switches but not this one!
The Lekker switch will be available in more keyboards in the future but for now we're focused on the Wooting two lekker edition to get the switch ready for production.

Why not use a crowdfunding platform?
The semantics of crowdfunding platforms have changed over the years and lost the spirit it captured in the past. Building something cool with the community. As a Dutch (EU) company it also has limitations when it comes to VAT, currencies and payment options. That’s why we’re launching this project on our own platform and we’d really appreciate it if you can share this page with others.

I want to help, how?
We consider you as our stakeholders and part of the team. That’s why we always involve you in our development, openly share our plans and actively listen to feedback. Our Discord is a friendly and fun environment with like-minded people that are helpful and honest.
We have an open dialogue every 2 weeks on our livestream, share developments on the blog and maintain a public software roadmap.

Who are you?
We’re a group of young guys from the Netherlands, that know each other from a long history of gaming. We got fed up with the gaming stereotype and terrible customer communication by major "gaming" companies and decided to start for ourselves.
Currently, our mission is to make analog keyboards an industry standard. We strongly believe it's the next step and are doing our best to support further developments within the field.

The Lekker switch

A particularly lekker Hall Effect switch that uses magnetism for analog input. It houses a square stem to ensure a stable press in a transparent casing for candy-like backlight. Thanks to its simple construction and absence of metal contact leafs, it can last millions of clicks. Read more...

This is the Wooting two with a lekker twist. A 108 key full-range analog input keyboard housing Lekker switches and a special "lekker" design that we will only produce once. The Lekker switches are magnetic hall-effect switches, a new technology you can bring to life by getting the Wooting two lekker edition.
